Photographer's Note
This statue was exposed in the city of Ghent during the 'Gentse feesten'. This is a festival organised every year and that lasts 10 days. There is then a lot of cultural activities and a lot more people drinking, eating and amusing themselves!

The theme here is very interesting, but the photo is too dark, one solution is to crop the top (the windows aren't necesary) and the bottom (like 2cm under the reflection of the statue) which is just too dark.

Potentially a good shot. The statue is just a bit too exposed, loosing the detail in the leg area. I'd agree about cropping off some of the bottom. I ran this through 'Auto Levels' in PSE and the windows and bricks jumped out. I'm not so sure that I'd crop the windows out. This is a shot that deserves some work, I think it could be turned into a much nicer picture.

Nice composition, I like how the water turns dark at the bottom, makes it very mysterious.

I love the mystery feeling of the photo...Very nice composition and color contrast...The statue seems diving in a different world due the dark water....

Great image. I agree that it is too dark but I love the contrast.
Nice post!
