These picture has been taken during a visit to Antwerp
Simple a stroll through the city, I found the market with the a lot lovely old houses.
The photograph is a part of the market, a moment of tourists look for a good place in the city.

Old houses:
Originally this was a Frankish square irregularly shaped square (triangular). It is bordered by sixteenth and seventeenth-century guild houses and reconstruction of such old houses. The houses which are authentic have undergone thorough restoration. Other houses are reconstructions from the nineteenth and twentieth century's. They took place a.d.h.v. paintings and other ancient testimonies. This reconstruction was mainly focused on the Market of yesteryear, although there are houses that have been reconstructed at another place in the town. Among the original buildings including the numbers are 24, 38 and 40.
The houses are located right on the picture of city hall. They are largely represented in Renaissance style. The combination of the Renaissance with Gothic elements such as the frequently used pinnacles are typical for the Netherlands. The main house is called The Estate of Spain dates back to 1580/1582. At the top stands a statue of Jef Lambeaux. He has multiple gables of an image seen. This picture is distinguished by its large and dynamic. This prominent cornice to do even eccentric. St. George is shown while on the verge of climbing up the dragon to pierce. The decoration of the houses is usually related to the guilds. Saint George is accompanied by other patrons rising above the rooftops. Such ornaments were more than an expression of religiosity. A craft guild or could by such means their power, status and wealth to express.
