Photographer's Note

I had the pleasure to spend 2 hours in Innsbruck, the capitol town of Tyrol. You can imagine I felt like a rabbit in the field with lettuce. The town is beautiful and its major highlight is the location: Innsbruck is squeezed tightly by the Alps. Fortunately in these 2 hours there was also a blue hour...
The title refers to the movie title Four weddings and a funeral. If you read the info below, it will become clear why I have chosen it.

Triumphpforte is one of the most famous sights of Innsbruck. It is located at the southern end of Maria Theresia Street. This triumphal arch was built in 1765 on the occasion of the wedding of Archduke Leopold, the second son of Empress Maria Theresia and Franz Stephan of Lorraine with the Spanish princess Maria Ludovica. Since Franz Stephan on 18 August 1765 unexpectedly died, the south side shows motifs within the meaning of the wedding the young couple, the north side of those who point out the emperor's death.
