Photographer's Note

The Ordino river flows down from the Arcalis ski station past Les Salines, where this shot was taken. There was unusually little snow for February. Yes, there are trout in that river.

This is so picturesque. It reminds me of the images I visualized regarding places away from my home when I was a kid. The thin white birch provide the needed highlights to an otherwise, dominant dull brown bakcground.

This is a very nice and refreshing shot. The usual combination, river, mountain, trees but in this case it has little something that makes it so realistic and reachable, not something just seen on dream pictures. I can also see myself standing there near the river bank listening to the water and smelling the fresh air, aahhh !. The white of the snow and white birch makes it luminous enough. Lovely and well done.

J'aime bien les rivières, l'eau qui serpente à travers les paysages. Du côté droit : de la neige, du côté gauche : de l'herbe brûlée (je suppose par la neige) ; en France aussi, l'herbe est brûlée mais par le soleil.
Bonne composition.

Brrrrr qu'elle doit être froide cette eau... c'est presque le bon temps pour pêcher la truite non ?
En tout cas bonne expo, et cadrage intéressant, quoique je l'aurais sans doute préféré plus large, mais ça reste un cliché qui fait envie.
