The Last Lock before the Lake, a photo from Panama, East

Photographer's Note

This is the last lock that our ship will traverse going from the Pacific to the Atlantic ocean. Here one can see the Bridge of the Americas in the far background as well as some ship traffic. We will enter Gatun Lake shortly and then proceed to the Atlantic ocean. I will present a few interesting ships that we will meet and pass in the lake.

Hello Roger,
nice the shot from the last lock constructions of the Panama's canal,with the right part of it to creates depth and perspective in the image.The same scenery in less dimensions i lived cross the Nile river at Aswan in Egypt.Excellent the light and the colour management.

Hello Roger,
Your high viewpoint offers a good perspective over the lock and the stretch of water beyond where we can some ships that have just passed through. The image has good sharpness, I like the graphical lines offered by the bridge in the background, which makes a fine focal point.

An another very interesting shot in your serie. Very well composed too with the FG, rich in various details, which give a great depht with the large prospect open and the graphic bridge in the BG. Good managment of light too which give beautiful naturals colors.

Hi Roger,

The distance between the lock and the bridge is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the lock. The morning light is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.
