Photographer's Note
On the Caribbean side of Panamá there's an archipelago of about 400 islands where the Kuna indians rule somewhat independently.
Sincerely
Sune

Bonsoir Sune,
Beau portrait de cette vieille dame. La profondeur de champ semble cependant très faible ? Merci pour le partage. Gérard

Hello Sune. I just came across your Panama gallery and fell in love with it. You brought really beautiful portraits. I was not aware you could meet such kind of Indians over there. Where are they located exactly ? How do they live ?

This one bring back some memories for me as I spend two weeks travelling around the Kuna archipelagio on a banana boat back in 97. Very nice people!
As for the photo I like everything about it. The colours and light are great, the DOF is controlled perfectly and the focus is spot on. I also like the energy in the pic: To me the crooked hand and the fact that the face is captured between two expressions adds to it.
Best,
Mikkel
