Photographer's Note
Man working leather to make sandals.
I liked the dexterity of this man and the results he had with so little resource.

Nice shot. I like the angle from which you have shot this photo. It really shows exactly what he's doing.

Beautiful B&W photo with a perfect light management. I like the POV above the man's hat. Great shot.

Hi Patrick,
the fantastic thing about your image is that powerful cowboy hat dominating the foreground. Nicely out of focus while a wonderful light falls on the hands. The b/w is beautiful, rich tones, good range.

Good black and white shot showing us this man at work. Excellent perspective which hiddnes the face of the craftman but shows us his hands and their ability. Well done.
Thanks for sharing,

Bonjour Patrick,

bien vu

Hi Patrick,
A nice point of view for this shot, I like the way the hat is out of focus but you have focused on the working hands. Good crop and nicely framed. balck and white works well here too.

I like the big hat here, Patrick--it's so much a part of the local culture. Even though we can't see his face, we can this man is intent in his work. Nice tones, too, especially in the skin--that gives the image real character. Good stuff! Regards, Ken.

Hi Patric,
The cowboy hat is the highlight of the shot. The tones ad to the beauty thoug its a bit OOF.
Good B&W composition.

Great b&w work in your portfolio. I especially like this image. Great technique regarding composition and the use of selective focus. But also a great image by its content, the picture tells us about the mens daily work and his strong and versed hands.
