This is a repost. I have scanned this negative, instead of digitally photographing a print as in the original image.
The Harbor of P-a-P.
"L'Avenir est a Dieux", the name of the boat, "The future belongs to God", shows the fatalistic attitude of the people in Haiti. Many boats, Tab Tabs (painted mini trucks for taxis) have religious inscriptions.
