Photographer's Note

On the shores of the beautiful Lago Atitlan, Toliman and right behind it Acatenango volcano offer breathtaking views. On the morning I snaped this shot, the top of the two large volcanoes was above the first layer of clouds, so that explains the two colors of the mountains.

Right beneath the volcanoes you can see the 'Cerro del Oro', another volcanic structure whose shape is said to have inspired the elephant inside the snake (or the hat) in Antoine de Saint Exupery's little prince

I have been a TE member for little over a year and posted 100 photographs. During this journey I have learned very much with critiques and comments, and enjoyed looking at and commenting other people's photographs. I have also seen parts of the world that I had never imagined existed, which is a great feeling in these times of wikipedia and without misteries (nothing against wiki, though). Thanks to all of you guys for your work and your comments.
