Photographer's Note

There's always room for more photos of beautiful Lago Atitlan, but this is my third and final one for this particular series. (The View and Locals, Too preceded this one.)

The lake is itself a volcanic caldera (I have seen the massive boulders of the collapsed volcano underneath when I scuba dived off the shore near Volcan Atitlan) and this angle is from a water taxi heading from our hotel over to the village of San Pedro.

On the shores are Volcan Atitlan in the distance with Volcan Toliman peeking out from behind while the slope of Volcan San Pedro is coming into view.

Slight adjustments to hue and saturation to enhance the blue.
