Photographer's Note
Samaná is a lovely town in the North-East coast of the Dominican Republic. Known for its coconut production and for being the first city where the Wesleyans landed in the XIX Century. Also, Samaná is the best place to watch Whales in their mating game.
I was in Samaná April 1st 2002 during a trip with some friends, and after walking in and out the most interesting places (including the little keys in this shot), we were ready to return to Santo Domingo.
The plaza near the sealine was restored and recently painted, and it made a nice contrast with the old man resting in that bench, so I stopped the car and took this shot.

Nice colorful shot, I like the horizontal lines in this view (bridge, water...). But it could be crop on the right side to eliminate the roof and the bridge could be leveled, it seems a bit tilted! Anyway, I stll like it, well seen!

Nice overall composition, but it might have been nice to rotate it clockwise, as it is not really horizontal. Beautiful colours ;o)

Hola Dario,

Hello Dario,
To me... Here the good elements are the guy on the bench and the bridge!
I feel the trees are disturbing the composition slightly, maybe a different POV where you leave them out?
Well done in capturing people on the bridge, adding extra life and scale!

Hi Dario,
This is a nice shot. Too bad the compression is a bit too high. The colors and horizontal lines make for an appealing composition.

Just to make things clear, I have never been to Caribia and I ahve never really considered a place of my interests. But this view is something that really changes my mind.
Truly an very queit, tranquil place.
The view is good but I think there is a slight lack of focus point.
Composition looks good, the man on the bench, the bridge, the tree etc. are nicely placed, but I still feel there is something lacking.
Ok obvious parts:
Lots of grain in the photos, especially around abrupt colour changes.
Tilted horizon, you said it yourself. If you add a horizon make sure it is level.
Then again this is an old photo, I'm pretty sure you have improved since then!
I'm giving you BIG :) for the view.

Hola, Dario!
Lindo trabajo!
