Attending a Carnival Parade is like signing up for the global conference of all colors. Everyone in the "comparsas" becomes a walking rainbow of art and self expression. This lady went the extra mile by doing her walk with the most enchanting smile I've seen in a while. Even when her costume was amazing by itself, I chose to focus on her eyes and smile, which showed me the true colors of her soul.r

Beautiful portrait from the parade. I like the sharp focus on this colorful smiling face, with a nice blur in the background. I also like how there a bit of shadow on one of her eyes. Really nice capture. :-)

Carnival is coming to an end, tomorrow Ash Wednesday but looking through your gallery I saw a lot of portraits from this event.
