Photographer's Note
I always knew my mother was wrong. Over all these years she kept saying that I was wasting time (and money) storing all those coins —Dominican "small currency". But I didn't listen and saved the spare change I got for several years up to the 90s. The left coin was minted in 1967, a year before I was born. It's worth "Medio Peso", half Peso. The smaller one was minted in 1972 and is called "Peseta" the nickname we had for our quarters, 25 cents of a Peso. We also had coins for 10, 5 and 1 cent of a Peso.
What happened? As inflation kept growing, small change stopped to be useful. All my coins, while theoretically still valid, won't be accepted anywhere. So my mom somehow won, but I did my Wabi-Sabi shot with them, so I won as well. Now, change changes, this is proof.

Hello Dario
A simple straightforward image of Money. Yes money only has worth if someone needs it. Hang unto that useless change. One day someone will need it.
