Photographer's Note

The Viceroy Palace of Diego Colón, protected by walls.
It was the headquarters of the first viceroyalty of America and residence of the family Colón-De Toledo.
Its construction was started in 1511 by order of the viceroy and governor Don Diego Colón, son of Christopher Columbus (Cristóbal Colón). It was occupied by the family and their descendants until 1577.
Currently hosts a historical museum.
