Photographer's Note

El mural de la prehistoria (Prehistoric mural) is painted on a mogote (chalky hill) known as Dos hermanas (two sisters). It is 120 m high and 180 m wide. The painting is a representation of the biological evolution of the Sierra de los Organos and of Pinar del Río province as well. The Cuban artist Leovigildo Gonzalez Morillo made this drawing with the participation of local residents, in order to paint the mural, the vegetal layer on the slope of Dos Hermanas had to be removed. Now it's visible on the pictures posted by other members that the house was moved, the fields and the scrubs were replaced by a park. Dedicated to Gert. Source : wiki. Scanned shot
