Photographer's Note

The village of Regla was always characterized by welcoming very humble people, almost all workers in the port of Havana and in the surrounding jobs as well as fishing. Of all the municipalities in the capital, it has generally been one of the poorest and least attended. walking through its streets is an evident example of how its inhabitants live, who often have to "invent" strategies like these. When I saw this house, I remembered an old Spanish proverb: "it does not matter if the child is ņato (short nose), what is important is that he breathe".
