Photographer's Note

That's how this Cuban kids reacted when they heard the name of George Bush Jr (now, who's kiddin'?).

I was waliking in the streets of the Old Habana (Habana Vieja) when I saw these kids trying to be Bruce Lee or Chakie Chan. They taught me that in Cuba the children grow up learning to respect "old fashioned" values like friendship and solidarity. Let me explain : Before this one i took another photo, in which the white redhaired (and shy) boy had stepped aside. When the three black kids saw that their friend ("carrot" they called him) was not in the picture, they asked me, very politely, to take one more shot including "Carrot". so that he would not feel an "outcast".
