Photographer's Note

I was hesitant to upload this photo for a long time, thinking most people on TE wouldn't approve of the HDR.

The only way to know for sure is to listen to your reactions :)

This is one of those photos that i knew i wanted to capture even before the plane landed in Havana. It was already in my mind to get these long streets in a tall vertical, and when i got here the options were endless!

Old town Havana is like a square grid, streets criss crossing each other in a repetitive pattern. Many of the streets can only fit 1 car, and sunlight has a hard time penetrating down onto the ground as you see here in this photo. Perhaps it was designed that way on purpose, a way to keep the heat away from the people living here.

Hope you enjoy this view, have a great weekend everyone.
