Photographer's Note

I don't post too many black and white photos, but I guess I couldn't resist this one.

We were walking around Havana, trying & trying to find bottled water, trying to find any sort of juice stand, trying to find any source of liquid for our parched throats!

If you havn't been to Havana, its very difficult to locate the essentials. Bottle water is like gold, and everyone wants it, yet the supply is so low.

We just kept walking and walking. It was our first real day of exploring the city, so we didn't exactly have a great sense of direction yet.

Despite my thirst, i stumbled upon this little collection of cars and wanted to put the search for liquids on hold for a few minutes.

The fat rounded trunk and back end of this car was too much to pass up, and when combined with the wide angle lens it looks even fatter and more round :)

eventually we did find our fruit juice, but it's only good for so long and the search started all over again shortly after.

Rule of thumb in Havana is, if you can locate bottled water, stock up on it NOW, not later. A lesson learned and never forgotten.

Thanks for looking
