Photographer's Note

I feel I could post photos of downtown Havana everyday for the next couple of months.

Spending 4 days in the city and we got so many photos, imagine local photographers, or photographers who travel here and spend weeks!

This is one of those photos that once again typifies the daily life in the city, lots of locals outside, lots of locals just hanging out.

Sometimes you'll find people being very animated and very loud, sometimes you'll find people looking a bit bored - just as this girl on the left is looking.

Without the internet being available to the public as it is in most countries around the world, and the lack of computers and other gadgets, the people of Havana are more inclined to spend their time OUTSIDE and engage with others. Maybe we could all learn from long as we get access to our TE once in a while :)

The architecture is beautiful, even now in the rugged condition its in. Its fun to try to imagine how this same street corner looked decades ago!

Hope you like this HDR shot.
