Photographer's Note

I found the Basílica de Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles in Cartago so interesting and beautiful that it deserves the second post, IMHO.rnHere is the view of the big square and a fountain. As you can see, from the outside nothing indicates the surprise that awaits us inside. In the first Workshop, a closer view of the facade. The signs indicate the path for going on foot (de pie) and another for kneeling (de rodillas). In the second Workshop, the view of the main altar.
But I liked also the atmosphere inside. The singing and the pilgrims moving slowly on their knees, it was really impressive. If you can spare 1 min 27 seconds, I invite you to watch

I was in Costa Rica during the rainy season. Usually, I carefully check what is the best time to go. But here I had no choice because of my granddaughter's holidays. Indeed, it rained a lot.
