Photographer's Note

Many of you know I tend to avoid people shots. I am usually too nervous to take them so rush and end up with blurred images. Lots of people were taking photos of these drummers so I felt I was in good company. However they had understandably chosen a very shaded area so shutter speeds were inevitably slow and shots were blurred for a different reason. I thought this one was OK and blur is limited to the action. There’s a fuller view of the band in the WS.
I adore drum music and had managed to crawl through the crowd and sit on the ground to avoid being in the way of the children. The atmosphere was electric and I was enjoying the music so much Rob had to practically drag me away so we didn’t miss the lift to the airport! My enjoyment of the moment is the main reason I want to share this with you.
I assume Nova Era is the name of the band.
