Northern Island, a photo from Belize, North

Photographer's Note

This photo was taken on the plane going back to Belize City.
Northern Island was the island where I stayed one week of my vacations. It's always a litle bit sad when you have to leave a nice place.
This Island is the base for Lighthouse Reef Resort wich is the only hotel on the island, and it only ocupies a very small part of the island, more or less the left corner.
This resort will close in August and it will be closed for 2 years. They will rebuild the resort and increase a lot the number of cabanas ( Now the max capcity is 20 persons). I hope they will not destroy the calm atmosfere that you have on the island.

This is just beautiful. The deep blues in the bottom of the picture set a nice base for the softer colors at the top. This looks like a great place to visit. I hope to soon.

Olá Pedro!
Esta vista aérea sobre Belize é fantástica. Gosto sobretudo dos vários tons de azul captados na água do mar e do céu e o contraste com o verde da vegetação. Um paraíso divino... Excelente registo, parabéns!
