Photographer's Note

I was initially apprehensive to put up this shot, because some might think it's "just another sunset photo". But to me it was an incredible moment. We were slap-bang in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, about 7 days out (around 2,000km) from the Canary Islands, making about 8-9 knots on our way to Antigua in the Caribbean. It was a magical moment standing on the bow of the boat (I was crew of a 90ft luxury charter yacht at the time), listening to the gentle waves and watching the sky go through so many amazing colours of gold/orange.

It was one of those moments that made me feel lucky to be alive.
