Photographer's Note

I took this picture within HCM City due to a personal reason.

In the early months of 2004, during a seminar I attended in New York, I met a Vietnamese gentleman. He told me he liked me and I took his words as a joke as it used to happen to any girl at any time.

What unusual was he maintained his regular contacts with me even after I returned to Vietnam where I reside.

Then normal steps happened again: we were engaged and our wedding happened.

Sometimes in life, important events came up just like they have been preset by a magic hand. After marriage, I was about to leave my parent and move toward an unseen future. With that symptom of conflict in mind, one day, I wandered to a park and saw these two flowers. Of course just my bad imagination, but seems to me they were encouraging each other, "Follow me, Honey!".

As my airplane took off from Tan Son Nhat airport, I had this picture among my luggage, and heard the absolute dominance of whispering outvoiced the roars of jet engines, "Follow me, Honey!".
