Photographer's Note

Hanoi has some magnificent large old colonial buildings as a legacy of French rule. There are also small touches around the city. This restaurant in old Hanoi could easily have been in a courtyard in Paris. Like in Paris it is entered through an arch way and small passage so that the courtyard is sheltered from the noise of the old town.
The restaurant, the Green Tangerine, serves good food that is relatively expensive by Vietnamese standards but still reasonable for the fine food that it serves. The food includes both French and Vietnamese dishes as well as fusion food. Strongly recommended especially for lunch when the prices are lower.
