Photographer's Note

why did I call this shot that way???

well...because I was everything else but lucky when I visited Hue! although it was the dry season (I'm just wondering how the wet rainy season actually is!) I experience continuous cold rain....and it was a pity because Hue is a city that could be enjoyed at its best with sunny weather.....anyhow...what could I do???

I just took it the way it was...so I turned the rain into inspiration...and I went graphic....because there was almost no other chance left!

Since it was hard to shot the buildings of Hue Citadel from outside....I worked on the opposite way...from inside to outside....

A further difficulty was that - you probably know - tripods are often seen as weapons....and
therefore you're not allowed to take them into Museum or Historical buildings.....so I use my mini-tripod to achieve the required sharpness (I hope I was good enough) to capture these warm golden and red lacked tones of the inner room of this building....

I hope you will enjoy both this and the other linked shots!
