Hidden beauty, a photo from Ho Chi Minh, South East

Photographer's Note

In the days leading up to the Tet festival there is a 24 hour flower market in Ho Chi Minh City. This was a video shoot - I'm not sure who this girl is but she was miming to a Vietnamese song. Difficult to take a picture because of the crowds and film crew, but I managed to shoot this one. The camera autofocus found this one impossible, but I think being slightly out of focus helps soften the subject.

Très touchnante cette compo. J'adore l'ambiance qui en est dégagée.
Les teintes sont très harmonieuses et c'est très tendre.
J'aime bien ces branches sur le devant et le regard de la femme qui part de côté.

Classic oriental beauty. Unusual shot though the blossom gives an originality worthy of commendation. Good colours and well cropped.

A creative and successful attempt to blend these objects together...

She looks pensive...I like the idea of her being an unsuspecting observer of the flowers, not an actress...lovely soft olive greens and fuschia pinks.

The slight blur does not detract at all...
