Photographer's Note

These coracles are used by fishermen to paddle to their larger fishing boats anchored off shore.
Used for centuries they were popular vessels of Celtic races in Europe and made of reeds, horsehair and waterproofed with tar.

Vietnamese coracles are made from bamboo and palm leaves.
In the recent Typhoon hundreds of Vietnamese fishermen are missing after being caught at sea: many are thought to have been paddling in between larger vessels in coracles such as this.

I just adjusted levels in the sky, and lightened the foreground. Little bit of sharpening, added a frame and that's it.
