Photographer's Note

I leave the highland for time being and now back at sea level in Central Vietnam:

Hoi An is one of my favourite towns not only due to the historical reasons, but the main one is to get up early in the morning and go to the busy fishing port by Thu Bon river and see the boats unload the catch of the night and prepare for another day at sea.

This similar scene and its hustle & bustle on and around the boats must have been repeated throughout the centuries for sure, everybody is doing something: selling, buying, waiting, getting off and on the boats. I simply love the atmosphere, the noise, the smell and the energy of this place and off course the endless photographic opportunity it offers.

Who needs a shop when you know where to get some fresh fish off the boats?

For me photography is discovering something new in what I look at or where I take my photos.

Happy viewing and thank for dropping by.
