Photographer's Note
To have a better knowledge of the country you visit, it's a must to go to the markets. And specially the Long Bien Market market in Hanoi. Deliveries starts by 02:00 am as the city sleeps. The market wakes up, with suppliers trucking in from far and wide with supplies for the early morning trade. By 05:30 am it's an excellent time to be there to see how thousands of people buying the merchandise, fresh food, to sell it in the small markets around the city or the street seller's you will find everywhere when walking around dthe old quarter.

Hello Roser
I quite agree that a local market is the best place to discover the real spirit of a place.
This early morning market, already busy despite the hour, has a special vibe indeed. Besides the night scene, I quite like the people in the traditional cone shaped hats in the middle of the scene. A pleasing sight indeed.
have a great weekend

Hello Roser
A fine snap of local life in Hanoi. It's still early and not really warm, but there's lots of action going on already, as we can also see in the view in the background with motorbikes and busses.
