Photographer's Note

Still going through some old files;

This photo was taken in Sa Pa town - the old French hill station, located in Vietnam’s remote northwest mountains along the border with China, where many hill tribe ethnic minorities such as the Black Hmong, Red Dzao, Flower Hmong, Tay etc call Sa Pa home. As indicated by the impressive headgears, they are the Red Dzao women plying their wares, being the second largest ethnic minority group besides the dominant Black Hmong. They are photogenic noted for their distinctive bulky bright red headdress, and traditionally shaved foreheads and shaved eyebrows.

Seeing this untouched beauty in humanity is a true delight even from this distant. Stealing a few shots while they were fully distracted is only logical.
