Photographer's Note

Picture taken at the Nakhon Phanom Festival occasion, on the border of Laos, which marks the end of the Buddhist lent.
On this occasion, the day of the full moon, 15 illuminated boats down the Mekong , shooting fireworks continuously.Over 3 hours of spectacle absolutly magnificient.
The small boat that passes nearby gives us an idea of the size of the illuminated boats.
Several thousands of people invade the walkway by the river .
Lot of people and so,difficult to find an interesting point of view ,the use of a tripod was so impossible.
Picture taken at 1/5 .Thanks to the built-in zoom stabilizer.
