Photographer's Note

Trying to get decent photos from this pier is tricky because of the orientation of the sun which is generally from an inconvenient direction. But also of course, with the tides, the boats go up and down as well, which can really change things. In this case having the tide out worked in my favour, as it really gave me and almost bird's eye view of the deck of this ship. With the wonderful blue nets that they were mending on the aft deck, it seemed to create a sort of fantasy world. The workshop shows a broader view!
