Photographer's Note

Kanchanaburi in Western Thailand has it's special charm, in particular its serried ranks of mountain ranges, sculpted from limestone karst, recede into a dreamlike distance, sometimes clothed in thick vegetation, elsewhere craggy and starkly bare, like battlements of a castle primeval.

The magnificent landscape and charming beauty of Kanchanaburi is really special with its several well-known waterfalls, caves which were once inhabited by Neolithic man, pristine national parks, tranquil rivers, virgin forests, and reservoir.
