Photographer's Note

This sunset is from the island of Koh Tao of the Thai east coast. Its a very small island popular with divers.
The sunset this evening is defently the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen, and people kept on coming down the beach everywhere just to look at it and take pictures.
Took about 80 frames on this sunset and this is one of them.

awesome work. i would say that its hard for a sunset to get much more compelling than that. what's nice is how strong the light is as well as the colors. also nice placement of the boat. i wonder if this area suffered from the tsumami as well?

Very nice sunset, indeed, Martin! The red colors are very appealing! Good idea in including the boat in your composition. I think it would be better to crop off a little the dark sea portion at the bottom. Very nice shot! Keep on posting! rgds.

I love sunsets :) This one is just great! The colors are pleasing and the boat is perfect. I like the black silhouette and its reflections in the water. great shot!

Gotland är ett av mina absoluta favoritställen ( och så Island då så klart) jag byter gärna plats med dig och bor där!

I really like this shot! Excellent colours, beautiful shades of red, well balanced composition. Maybe I would prefer an off centered position of the boat though.
