Hanging out at the daily night market in Phattalung is the best way to see and taste some very traditional, tasty and still good value for money dishes, like the popular Kanom Jeen also called Kanom Chin. The basis of this dish are cold white rice noodles topped with a spicy Thai curry like green chicken curry or red fish curry as well as fresh vegetables. Of the latter you can take as much as you like from the plate in the middle of the table.
