Photographer's Note

A detail from one of the entrances to the Ankgorian style Phimai temples in eastern Thailand. The pieces are very weatherworn by centuries of rain & have smooth surfaces. The Thais have attempted to reconstruct the original shattered lintels, & have improvised along the way. They don't quite fit, do they?
