Photographer's Note

To celebrate the Thai New Year, water is sprinkled (or splashed) onto one self, or onto others as a cleansing act. To cleanse off bad luck, bad vibes, etc.

Most likely the culture of water cleansing originates from Yunnan in China.

Here in Khon Kaen in Isaan (Thailand North East region)in the middle of the city, it is "no one shall remain dry"!!

All done and accepted in good faith and fun.
