Photographer's Note
Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain in Thailand at 2,565m and its surrounding forests form the beautiful and diverse Doi Inthanon National Park (48,240 hectares), which was created in 1954. It is possible to drive right to the summit and there are many things to see and do in the national park. I spent several nights camping and exploring the area late last year.
Doi Inthanon is an easy drive from Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand.
Near the summit you can visit two beautiful chedi (pagoda) that were constructed in 1992 to celebrate the 60th birthdays of the King and Queen of Thailand. This one is Napapon Phoom-siri Chedi - dedicated to the Queen of Thailand.

Hi Chris,
Nice mixture of greens and other colours against a dream of a sky. The purple pagode stands out majestically. Strange colour choice though, for a pagode...
Very nice shot,

Hi Chris - The temple and its setting seem strange bedfellows, like 2 very different photos in the one. It all ads up to a great photo.

Bonjour Chris
Très belle composition. Ne pas centrer dans l'image était parfait et la gestion de la lumière excellent.Ce bouquet plan à l'avant plan est parfait
