Photographer's Note

Wat Phra That in the mountain Doi Suthep is considered one of the most important Buddhist temple in northern Thailand. Located less than 30 minutes drive from Chiang Mai city, it is often mistakenly called Wat Doi Suthep.

From the access road, one can choose to take the funicular rail car or walk up the famous twin Naga steps, all 300 of them. I chose to walk. And take the rail car down. (What??!!)

Gold and golden seemed to be the colour of the temple.
Some of the Buddhas are actually covered with gold leaves.
