The marble players

This photo was taken at the main temple on Koh Kood, an island in Trat province, next to the Cambodian border. When we arrived, there were many children playing around, likely pupils at the temple school. I’m not too sure what the saying "kids will be kids" means, but if it means kids act like kids no matter where in the world they live, I guess this photo tends to support it. There must be dozens of marble games. I must say that I didn’t quite understand that one, perhaps because I was more interested in the interactions with the kids and taking photos. I remember playing marbles when I was a kid, and thinking that the game that was played in my neighbourhood was not making much sense! Some must be better than others.
