Photographer's Note
‘ Wat Tham Sua and Wat Tham Khao Noi ’
Since no one else ever showed pictures of Wat Tham Sua on this site, I believe I can afford to present some more.
The photos of today show all three parts of the colourful architecture of different temples built on the same platform.
The Wat Tham Khao Noi in the WS is best known for its Chinese-influenced pagoda.
The name of the temple means ‘Temple of the small mountain’.
It has been built on the same platform as Wat Tham Sua but a wall separates both.
The orange pagoda in cone shape with the many windows (other WS) is my favourite building in Wat Tham Sua.

Hello Paul,
Three more well taken photos from this spectacular temple. The decorations are stunning and you captured the bright colours with very good exposure and fine saturation. The main photo is the most intricate composition with well placed elements of different buildings side by side and at different distances from the camera. They are all bathing in the light from the clear blue sky.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hallo Paul,
Een fantastische close-up van de gouden ornamenten op deze pilaar, die ook uitstekend uitgelicht wordt door het heldere zonlicht. De oranje toren erachter zien we hier ook al van wat dichterbij, waardoor de details heel goed uitkomen.

Hello Paul,
I like this!
The close-ups of all your photographs are very good for shapes, colours and textures but this is definitely my favourite, with its fine composition in addition to the other attributes!
I just love how the textures seem almost palpable and the 3D effect is remarkable! The colours are so rich that they emphasise again how these people love vibrant colours.
Who could feel sad, looking at this!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hallo Paul, the pictures present the architectural details of the pagoda and the tower. They are decorated with patterns inspired by the Buddhism. Their repetition creates a pleasant visual effect. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Good morning Paul,
I guess this was best possible perspective as we see on the main post. The colors are stunning, as mentioned before, and the returning pattern upon the edifice and upon the column are amazing sight.
My best regards,
Ike

Hello Paul,
As I can see, I've six wonderful images ( 3 previous post )in front of me. And still I've not quite enough. You can afford to post all of them :-)
I see there are some tiles fallen out in this pillar as it was built recently. Fast and cheap.
My favorite temple is the Chinese pagoda. I've never seen such a colourful pagoda , yet they soften it by the beautiful flowers theme on the window's wall. It's just stand out from the rest I think.
Secondly, will be the large Buddha. You know, there are 7 various Buddha postures representing the 7 different days of the week. Mine is the Thursday Buddha as the large sitting Buddha.
Thanks for the mentioned and sharing this amazing temple.

Hi Paul,
this place is truly amazing and clearly deserves more uploads. The colors are just a photographers dream. Orange, bright orange roof, and such decorative windows.
Thanks for showing some other decorations here as well, again probably from different periods, some very rich other quite simple.
Great weather and resulting warm colors.
Excellent reportage,
M

Hi Paul,
After the bridge, I went to the cemetery which is a quite poignant place to wander around the neatly arranged plaques dedicated to Dutch, British & Australian soldiers, who died as POW's in the construction of the Burma railway. A colourful Wat with good sharpness. Tfs!
