Photographer's Note

Elephants are very important animals in Thailand. They work and play, toil and entertain. It has become a national symbol in old Thailand (Siam) and they even fought with neighboring Burma in the past over the possession of a White elephant.
Anyway, these days, many places has this animal symbol in one way or another. In a small lodging house in Kanchanaburi, I found this small elephant sculpture displayed in a tiny corner. What caught my attention was the way the light from an opening in the ceiling struck it. With my camera, I experimented recording the "beautiful" sight from various angles and for me, this one is the best.
Except for cropping, this pictured is unaltered. Thanks to the beautiful rich colours of the Siam elephant and corner table where it stood.
