Photographer's Note
Again in Bangkok's Chatuchak week end market and to my Plastic fruits in Bangkok theme... In the same shop as this (you can see this post in second row from top in the linked image).
It is just an experiment... and I hope you'll like it.

Hi Marilyn,
Very nice contrast between the apples and the oranges. It's a very graphical shot. Simple and effective. Well done! I have made a ws, just cropping the top. I hope you like it!

Bonjour Marilyn,

You got such a lot from your trip to Jatujak, Marilyn. I remember you plastic fruit that you posted before. This one has a strong pattern and rich colour. I like it even better with a tighter crop, with the silver top left cropped out. It seems to give it more punch. Mind you, it has enough punch as it is. regards kevin

This is an interesting abstract piece Marilyn. The sharpness is excellent and the colour is nive and vibrant, but like belido I can't help wonder why you chose to include the box in the top right hand corner. I find it very distractin and takes away from the beauty of this abstract...adds a spot of ugliness to your work if you like.
Thanks
Graal

Hello Marilyn,
PRETTY FRUITY!
I like the variety of images that offer more color and form than this image that only offers (2) two variations. Remember, try using an odd number in your images to balance the Rule of Thirds applies to most any photo...

Bonjour, mon amie Marilyn,

Hi Marilyn,
Simple composition with just color contrast and repeating patterns as the dominant structure ... very effective. As what the common saying goes ... simplicity is beauty. Well composed ... excellent work! tfs

Oooooo Marilyn a really stunning compothe the frame you used gives an impressive effect with the corner on the top right is very good to be so without fruits. The fruits have nive vivid colors and the shine of them gives a plus to all effect.
Great done.

bellissimi colori ed una composizione davvero interessante. Forse è leggermente "rumorosa".
Complimenti!

salut marilyn

Bonjour Marilyn
I tend to agree with Carlos & Will about the top of the box...but does not really distract that much. This is a good experiment, maybe acropping the top making it into a pano format & saturating would create a stronger punch? But I have to admit you do have a treasure trove of pix. from Chatuchak

Marilyn,

Bonjour Marilyn -
This is plastic fruit?? I am really amazed as it looks real enough to eat. I looked at the WS image and IMO both images work and work well. I like how your image is balanced even though the box is adding to the balance. The box also lets us know something about the situation or place of this image. The WS is truly an abstract and it slightly unbalanced but the strong difference is colors is over coming the imbalance. Your exposure is spot and the contrast between shadow and light and between orange and green is perfect. This is a well done image, bravo!
Thank you for sharing.
