Photographer's Note

My first day in Thailand my friend Jeremy took me to all the usual tourist spots. On the list was the beautiful Wat Traimit in Bangkok that boasted the largest golden buddha. Although we did not pay the outrageously priced entrance fee to view the buddha, I did peek my head through a window and got a pretty good view of it.

Next we went to another Wat off one of the main rivers through Bangkok. I wish I could remember these names, but it was hard enough for me to pronounce them after my Jeremy sounded them out to me a dozen times, let alone remember them now, two years later. Walking through the grounds I happened to look to my left and saw five ladies (obviously tourists same as me) in a natural pose that I for some reason found to be quite comical looking. The original picture is full of color and the five ladies almost blend into the background as the tiles on the wall are just as colorful as their clothes. A friend convinced me to change it to black and white and do a little photoshopping. I think the end result turned out pretty nice, although at least half the credit goes to him (Jeff) for his photoshop genius.

I hope you enjoy!
