Photographer's Note

I took this shot today. Originally, this started as twelve photos. I used Panorama Factory to stitch them together, resulting in a photo almost 9000 pixels wide and over 36 megabytes in size. This one is smaller. This is the 228 Peace Park, pretty much in the center of Taipei.

I am having great fun experimenting with Panorama Factory. I find in composing a ultra wide shot, you have to think quite differently. I can't wait until I get a better digital camera to try these, as I can't lock the exposure on the one I have, and being able to do so should yield even better results. Here, my intent was to use the fencing/handrailing to lead to the pagoda on the right. Sorry about the frame, I had to use it to bring the image size up to 300 pixels in height. To make this shot, I had the camera sitting on top of one of the fenceposts.
