Hello Elvira,
A nice and colourful photo from the beach. The elderly man makes a good focal-point and there is also some action in the background. At the time of my only visit to Sri Lanka in 1992 Trincomalee was still out of reach because of the civil war. Anuradhapura in the north was also too close to the war zone to be safe.

Un très beau portrait de ce pêcheur dans son environnement naturel. Il prend bien la pose et tient fièrement sa branche. J'aime voir son panier bien plein et son regard sur l'horizon.

Hello Elvira, Interesting to see the fishermen at work on this beach and not the tourists under umbrellas. Nice composition, good colours and sharpness. Interesting view. What are these two men doing? Do they catch fish in the basket?

great scene. what is the purpose of the man's long long stick? if it were a walking stick you'd think it would be shorter and easier to handle on a daily basis. Good to have the boat and the two younger men in the bg to complete the scene. I would have probably cropped the top portion to eliminate the birds, but that's such a minor thing. excellent post. cheers
