Sunset during Independence Day

Sri Lanka on February 4, 2020 marked its 72nd Independence Day, to commemorate the country's political independence from British rule in 1948. It is celebrated all over the country through a military ships parade, flag-hoisting ceremony, dances and performances.

Sri Lanka Navy's Ships sailed in formation in the Indian Ocean beautifully lit against the backdrop of the setting sun.

Hi Zbigniew
Sri Lanka is a place I want to travel someday. I want to take a picture of the waves of the Indian Ocean, the sunrise and sunset. Sri Lanka is a very important country, geopolitically located in the middle of the energy lifeline of Korea, Japan, and China.
By the way, there are many Sri Lankan migrant workers in Korea.

This is a well composed photo with stunning colours and a very good exposure. The illuminations make the boat look terrific, and I really like the silhouettes of the two men. I wonder what was in the bottle. ;-)

Beautiful how the orange colours of the sky are reflected in the sea.
The festive illumination on the boat demands all attention.
Nice foreground with the silhouettes of both people and the bottle in between them.

Marvelous sunset golden sky and silhouettes of the two guys at the quay, vessels out to sea with illuminated ropes.
A fine take of that moment.
Green bottle is also nicely added object in contrasting color.
