Photographer's Note
This is the partner to the other photo i posted a couple of days ago of a girl painting with a load of empty space around her. She finally decided on a subject and proceeded to sit there for a couple of hours...such dedication!

it is interesting, that she found a green tree in that "dessert type countryside" . So abstract for the pict. viewer

Hello wants. A humorous photo with an unusual point of view. Very graphically structured and skillfully composes. A photographic experiment. Very beautifully. Best regards, Wolfgang.

This is a great shot Will! Seeing the lonely artist in the middle of this desert is very striking. And you even included the canvas she is painting to even increase the strangeness of the scene. It's very nice.

Hey Will,
You must have waiting a long time for her to get to this stage, from the empty canvas in your previous shot!
I love the vast empty frame here and the portrait format seems to work well - even though she is painting in landscape!
Personnally I would have her slightly more into the framer to include her shadow, but that's such a little point!

A superbly minimalist composition here Will, it looks like she has a vivid imagination!
I think it might have worked slightly better with the artist placed slightly higher up in the frame, but even so this is a strong composition.
Good work.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Will
Nice couple of images. Great neutral bg and she really pops. I think I prefer the horizonal format. But the vertical format is nice as well, looking over the shoulder at the painting. Well done.

Browsing thru your images I found them full of humor and this is no excuse. the are all well comped and slightly tweeky.
It looks like she doing samples of different technics its anyhow a picture that i would die to see her motiv but I'm very glad I don't.

Will: compositionally intriguing. The eye wonders what's in the offing; it's that puzzling quality that marks this fine image. best, c

I quite like this. Your exaggerated use of this space makes the whole situation funny. Now, I assume theres a nice landscape view where your frame ends but thanks to the large empty space it seems like she is simply sitting in a schoolyard painting from memory. Its a cleve, humorous capture.

Hey Will,
She seem to look 'furthur' her eyesight is very good, I don't see her subject in your composition. The emptytiness of her surrounding, her canvass 'full' of life, quite a good contrast!
Well done!

Hi Will,
Magnifique, cette image ! Quelle composition ! Dans tout ce sable, on se demande ce qu'elle peut bien peindre !
